Already from the dreamy cover art it's clear that Victor Life doesn't joke with the new Fockewulf 190.Arys Noir, the new female singer of the most cult band of the electro italo disco scene, pose with the romantic elegance of an old 30s movie... something that will lead you into the most extreme fantasy and warm you inside.Her powerful and sensual voice shines as her enormous talent, a stage animal for someone like me who saw her at the Magic Waves Festival in London to present live for the first time this fantastic cover of the Model (played with an oriental and extremely new tonality), maybe the best interpretation of this great song by Kraftwerk after the 4 arches version of the Balanescu Quartet.It's the same for Cars by Gary Numan, legendary hero of the 80s synth pop.... but the most original thing is the sonic transformation by Victor Life, able to give new life to the immortal Body Heat, under the direction of the sound engineer Maurizio Piazza, ex collaborator of Franco Battiato; the b side is composed by his remixes wich show his digital abilty in enhancing the creativity of Victor Life, authentic master of the analogic sound with his MS 20 Korg.It's important the charming krafterian quote by Alberto Styllo in Cars and even the soft voice of Fred Ventura seems gigantic in this vinyl, wich sound fantastic.In The Model and Quiet must be remembered the voice of Dario Dell'Aere, original singer of the band, must be remembered, a romantic synth pop journey in Fade to Grey style, with the keyboards of Mr Life doing medioriental melodies. If it's not the best Fw190 production ever, it's sure the most complete.Immediately after its releasing the record is sold very well especially in Holland and is now destined to be played all around Europe.
