  • This compilation has quite a few "rave" styled tracks making the cover artwork somewhat of a lie. Based on the artwork, the least you would expect is any kind of harder electronic sounds. In fact, only a few tracks in this compilation are analogical to the booklet's front artwork. (Tracks 7 and 8 immediately come to mind.) The rest of the tracks are either Harder styles of trance, or acid dub. There is a disturbingly high amount of 303 sounds in this compilation which is weird in my opinion. As for the music, nothing really to write a book about. The remix of "Out Of Time" by Levitation is completely inferior to the original version found in their debut album of the same name. Tracks 2, 3 and 11 shouldn't even be in this compilation. The style of these tracks have absolutely nothing to do with Ibiza or music even vaguely related to the artwork. When I read the title "Dreaming Deejays" for the first time, I thought the styles in this compilation would consist of Downtempo, ambient, maybe some balearic house and softer trance music.Despite this being a middle-of-the-road release like most extremely obscure releases, it is worth nothing that DJ Dag released a possible exclusive track called "Everybody" it is nowhere near as good as his best works but it's an interesting bonus. Why would he bother releasing one of his tracks on such an obscure compilation?
